Classic and inspiring film about leadership and sacrifice. They don't get any better than this one! 5 STARS!!!
One of the greatest war films of all time. A testament to human dignity and its ultimate transcendence over the horrors of combat. Peck is superb as the blood-and-guts General Slaughter who discovers that his own humanity is equal to the quality of his courage...and that of his men.
